Beam Free is available for a limited time through OpenCode Go and Console; no end date has been announced. Go lists unlimited usage, but that does not establish an unlimited allowance for the separate Console route. Both exclude Angola, Belarus, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Libya, Nigeria, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. Go is a subscription service. Console separately lists Beam at zero token cost; its general setup requires sign-in, billing details, credits and an API key, without specifying whether free models are exempt from requirements such as adding credits. Console’s free-tier chat models require the OpenCode client; other clients must use paid models or Go. Go requires a Go or Go Plus subscription and a single-member workspace. Its unlimited Beam allowance does not waive the subscription fee. The model ID is beam-free.
