OpenAI refunds OpenCode users' API credits after an attack and invites Daybreak Blue for defense

On October 19, 2026 at 12:12 Beijing time, OpenAI's Tibo said the team worked with OpenCode so users who are also OpenAI API customers are back in business, with any credits drawn in the attack refunded. He also invited people to request Daybreak Blue access for a cyber-permissive defense setup, rather than waiting until an incident.
