OpenAI previews Decisions API for real-time decisions

Decisions API uses GPT-6 Luna to answer predefined questions using text or image context. It supports classification, routing and choosing an agent’s next action. These use cases overlap with Jev and Laya, but the underlying model and implementation differ. Jev and Laya are designed for typed decisions; OpenAI has not published full implementation details for its Luna-based service. The API is in limited preview.
