Custom GPTs planned to retire; migrate to Plugins

OpenAI Help (GPTs FAQ, updated ~2h ago): Custom GPTs will be retired in favor of Plugins. Affected Enterprise workspaces are planned for Dec 11, 2026 retirement; existing GPTs remain usable until then. Migration experience targeted around Sep 17, 2026 (may roll out unevenly). Other plans expected to follow; watch in-product notices. Personal Free/Go/Plus/Pro can no longer create or publish new GPTs.
