Kimi apologized for rate limits and unnecessary quota consumption on its K3.1 Pro subscription plan. It announced a one-time direct usage reset for subscribers on every plan, restoring 25% of their monthly quota—equivalent to a week of use. For subscribers who have used less than 25%, recorded usage will reset to zero. The adjustment will appear automatically in the usage bar; no claim is needed, and rollout is not yet confirmed. Kimi also says it has adjusted plan parameters and is reducing unnecessary subagent calls and output length to make quota go further.
