Gemini 4 Carbon

Released
Review updated

Google DeepMind's next frontier model. Google says it's state of the art in cybersecurity and long-running work: No. 1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5.0 with a score of 59, plus 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro, 54.8% on ExploitGym and 71.0% on CWE-bench. Google also says it can keep working on complex tasks for days without getting stuck or cutting corners.

Availability

A small group of cyber defenders gets it first, then more trusted partners through Google's Fairwind Program. Google says it will open it up to developers, businesses and consumers as soon as possible once it has refined the safeguards, but hasn't given a date. At launch it costs the same as Argon's introductory price: $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output, with cached input 95% cheaper. After the intro period, it's $4 input and $20 output.
