DeepSeek published Search and Fetch APIs: Search finds pages with its in-house engine, and Fetch returns one page as Markdown, via POST /v1/tools/search and /v1/tools/fetch with the same bearer auth as chat. Each costs $0.75 per 1,000 successful requests. Server-side tool calls through DeepSeek Harness, Claude Code, or Codex stay free until 00:00 Beijing time on November 1, 2026.
