Cohere brings confidential computing to Model Vault in public beta
- Effective time
- Review updated
Cohere has launched a public beta of confidential computing for Model Vault, using NVIDIA H100 GPUs on Microsoft Azure to protect prompts, documents and responses while inference runs. Client-side software verifies the environment before sending end-to-end encrypted requests and refuses to send if verification fails. Teams handling sensitive documents or source code can contact Cohere to join. The beta is free for design partners; other current rates and general-availability pricing require confirmation. Supported families include Embed, Rerank, Parse, the Compass bundle, North Mini Code, Transcribe and customized models. Confirm the exact model, capacity and region through the Encrypted creation options or Cohere; support is not universal. Start at the official Model Vault portal. Confidential computing does not replace application security, compliance or data-residency requirements.
