xAI launched grok-imagine-video-1.5-lite in the Grok Imagine API on October 8 for text-to-video and image-to-video. Generated video costs $0.02 per second at 480p, $0.03 at 720p and $0.14 at 1080p; image input costs an additional $0.01. Official documentation lists us-east-1 and us-west-2 and a limit of 10 requests per second. Lite is a newly released variant, distinct from the standard Video 1.5 model archived with a June 16 release date. The announcement does not establish free access or inclusion in a Grok app plan.
