xAI's API now offers Custom Moderation Controls: add a guidelines array to set nsfw, violence or profanity to decline, so Grok steers further away from that content \(no sexual innuendo, graphic violence or profanity\) while still answering educational, clinical, historical and news questions. Unlisted categories keep default moderation, responses keep the same shape, and xAI says it may refine the details.
