# Suno now lets you start a song from MIDI

On Suno's Create page you can now start a song from a MIDI file, either by dragging a .mid or .midi file onto the page or by choosing MIDI from the + menu. A MIDI file holds notes and timing but no sound, and you tell Suno in plain language how to use it: play the notes exactly, or take a motif and develop it into something new. Suno's blog does not say which plans can use it.
