OpenAI's security-research model pairs stronger capabilities with tighter alignment. OpenAI says it powered the Linux kernel research announced the day before, and security teams at Mozilla, Palo Alto Networks, Calif, Cisco and OpenAI are already using it.


## Availability

Available to select Daybreak Red customers, with access expanding over time. The same day OpenAI also widened the Daybreak Blue alpha for GPT-6 Astra to more organizations and individual researchers.
