# OpenAI rolls out dots, an always-on agent powered by Astra

Eligible users can use dots in a desktop browser at https://chatgpt.com/dots. App access is rolling out gradually, with no single date for availability to all accounts. Powered by GPT-6 Astra, dots work in the cloud and follow up on ongoing tasks. On Pro, conversations and work done directly by Dot do not use your ChatGPT allowance; tasks delegated to Work or Codex still count.
