# Mistral releases the weights of Mistral Large 4 under a modified MIT license

Mistral has put the weights of an improved Mistral Large 4 on Hugging Face. It's an upgraded version of the preview model, trained for about three more weeks. The 1-trillion-parameter multimodal model is now better at coding and cyber defense, with low, medium and high reasoning levels. The modified MIT license lets you use, fine-tune and sell with it for free. Companies that sell access to the model as a service need a separate license. On the API, it now costs $0.70 per million input tokens and $2.10 per million output tokens.
