# Cursor for iOS adds remote control of local agents

Cursor

Cursor introduced Remote Control for iOS on October 6, 2026. Users can check local agents and send them messages from their phone after signing in to the same account and approving pairing in the desktop app. Agents continue running on the original computer, which must remain powered on and online; cloud agents are not required. Remote Control is enabled by default except for Enterprise organizations, where an administrator must turn it on. The optional desktop keep-awake setting requires the computer to be plugged in with its lid open.
